Amazing DIY Mantel -- Spotlight Post

My friend, Louise, from Laid Off Mom, was kind enough to let me spotlight her awesome DIY mantel today on All Things Luxurious!  I am so glad -- Louise is a wonderful, bright woman, and I have so enjoyed my time getting to know her.  She is also one of my sponsors for the month of April, and I am sponsoring her blog, as well!

Can you believe this beauty was a DIY project?  I am in love!  Let's take a look-see at where this all started, though...

This was the fireplace before Louise and her beautiful family moved into their home.

And this is the fireplace after they moved in and spruced it up a little!

Louise first sketched a plan of what she wanted her new mantel to look like.
