I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine crafting, doing laundry, and spending time with family. It was definitely the most relaxed weekend I have had in a long time. :-) It is supposed to be *sunny* and in the low eighties today, so I thought that I would celebrate the blue sky and show off some amazing rooms with sky-colored ceilings. Enjoy!

That's really cool. We always think to color our walls and leave our ceilings white, but what about vice versa, and change things up a bit :) makes you feel like you're outside on a perfect bright sunny day :)

DeleteI know that in the South, many of the older Civil War Era homes have sky-colored ceilings on their porches. This was so that birds wouldn't build nests! I think it's still probably a good idea for porches.. maybe not in Arizona because of all the cookie-cutter houses (and lack of wildlife), but definitely back in the eastern US!
