Domes and cloches...I just love 'em. These pieces of decor are so versatile and really can be personalized in so many different ways. Whether you are going for a shabby chic look or a modern garden-y flair, it's completely up to you. Holidays can be perfectly represented with domes and cloches -- think: a pile of ornaments for Christmas, a nest and some eggs for Easter... I'm sure you can get even more creative than that, but those are just some ideas.
Tell me: What would you put under your dome or cloche?
love,
maria
Where should I begin? I have one in my living room that holds a stack of vintage books, a few beautiful buttons, and a bird feather. Love a good cloche :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds lovely! :-)
DeleteI love that one with the bird hanging over the spools of ribbon - so cute!
ReplyDeleteTotally love the idea of using one for seasonal decor! Especially the ornament idea. Already getting Christmas-fever. haha
Lol, Ash -- I start getting Christmas-fever January 1st. ;-) Just ask my husband.
DeleteGorgeous pictures. I think the thing I love most about a cloche is the versitility--so easy to change out items on display with the season or when I find a new treasure. Love the baby fern undert the chicken wire dome!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by, Linda. I completely agree with you -- the versatility of the cloche is fantastic! :-)
Deletesweet images, especially one with cakes :)
